COSCO Shipyard Group is dedicated in the repairing, conversion and building of large ships and marine engineering. Now, it boasts a total dock capacity of 2.3 million DWT, including two 300,000-DWT docks, four 150,000~200,000-DWT docks, seven 40,000~80,000 docks and 27 berths, covering a total area of 4.5 million square meters, well located and organized from the north to the south of China. Annually, the company provides repairing and conversion services to more than 600 ships of various types owned by over 140 world's biggest shipping companies in over 50 countries including the US, UK, Norway, Denmark, Japan, etc.
Since 2006, the company has greatly expanded the businesses of marine engineering and ship building and the contracts received include the building of the world?s first FDPSO, FSO, semi-submersible offshore oil rig GM400 and Seven650 cylindrical drilling rig. The contracting of those projects will further increase the global market share of the COSCO Shipyard as an emerging brand and demonstrate the strength of its overall development.
