COSCO Africa (Pty) Ltd was incorporated in Johannesburg on March 28th, 1995. It is in charge of COSCO Group's business in south and west Africa. Its main business scope covers ship agency, on-the-spot management and ship-related business. Cosren Shipping Agency, the joint venture of COSCO Africa (Pty) Ltd and Rennies Ships Agency (Pty) Ltd, was incorporated on Oct. 1st, 1995. The Chinese side has 55 percent shares. And the sub agency in Port Elizabeth and Cape Town was founded on July 15 and October 28, 1996.
